Caterina Diglio, owner and CEO of Antea Consulting, has more than twenty years of experience in corporate advisory, working for consulting firms (Ernst & Young, PricewaterhouseCoopers) and financial institutions in Italy and in Switzerland (San Paolo IMI Group and UBS AG).

Degrees: Bachelor in Economics and Banking at the University of Siena (Italy); Master in Business Management at BSS – University  of Bologna; Certified Public Accountant and Auditor (Italy);  Executive Master in Export Management at the School of Management “Alma Laboris” Milan (Italy).

Caterina has very good experience in M&A operations, in advising family-owned businesses for generational transitions, in business development activities (research of strategic and financial partners, business plans, company profiles, industry analysis, SWOT analysis, economic and financial analysis). She has very good experience in advising business relocations between Italy and Switzerland. Excellent skills in supporting start-ups.

After an experience in auditing, Caterina joined San Paolo IMI Bank as credit analyst for major loan operations (acquisition finance, loans, project financing, leasing, factoring, commercial papers, etc.).

Caterina then took up a management position in the Corporate Finance division at Ernst & Young. During this long-term assignment, she coordinated several projects such as M&A operations (sell/buy side), business valuation, debt restructuring, business & financial planning and several Italian privatisation projects (airports, spa public companies and trade fairs).

She eventually moved to Switzerland in 2007, where she was appointed Director at UBS SA. At the Swiss bank, she was involved in different projects, providing advice mainly to family-owned businesses.

As of 2013, Caterina works as a freelancer in the business areas that have marked her career. She is interested in start-ups, she works as a coach in incubators and accelerators of innovative ideas in Switzerland. Co-founder of an innovative start up in the foodtech sector.
